The building dates back to the 16th century and has been beautifully restored, retaining many of its original features such as exposed beams and a thatched roof. Inside, the pub has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a cosy fireplace and comfortable seating areas. The menu features a range of delicious pub classics, as well as some more modern dishes, all made using locally sourced ingredients. The pub also has a great selection of real ales and wines to choose from.

Wimborne Furzehill is a lovely village to explore, with plenty of walking trails and scenic countryside to enjoy. The nearby town of Wimborne Minster is also worth a visit, with its beautiful Minster church and charming streets lined with independent shops and cafes. For those interested in history, the nearby Kingston Lacy estate is a must-see, with its stunning house and gardens.
