-The Dog & Partridge is a charming pub located in the quaint village of High Lane, just off the Buxton Road in Stockport. The building itself is a beautiful example of traditional English architecture, with its white-washed exterior and thatched roof. Inside, the pub is warm and welcoming, with a cozy fireplace and comfortable seating areas. The menu features classic pub fare, including hearty pies, fish and chips, and burgers, as well as a selection of local beers and ciders.
High Lane is a lovely village to explore, with plenty of walking trails and picturesque views of the surrounding countryside. Just a short drive away is the town of Buxton, known for its stunning Georgian architecture and natural hot springs. Visitors can also take a tour of the Buxton Opera House, which hosts a variety of performances throughout the year.
