Had a stop over in the motorhome on route too Scotland,great place for a drink and something to eat,as we were late and the kitchen had just closed we had some drinks.Dog friendly and very nice warm welcome from the staff.

Stop for some lunch the food was outstanding the place was absolutely beautiful inside and outside the location most beautiful will definitely go back again

We loved this place, we had a quiet overnighter on our way to tan hill. good food and ale, and a great atmosphere.

Whilst we didn't stop overnight here., We did stop for food, although they appeared to be closed, the owners very kindly opened up for us to have something to eat.Great Home cooked food, wide selection. Very homely place and lovely owners. If you are ever passing pop in. We will be next time we are travelling over the A66❤️👍

Stopped off to eat. Absolute joke. Jacket potato with tiny bit of cheese, a tuna sandwich on basic cheap sliced bread and a portion of chips and 2 Pepsis cost £28.75. Ridiculously over priced. Would not recommend.

Our first stay here! But won’t be our last, reasonable price they do charge extra for dogs but for that! the dogs get a gourmet meal and you are supplied with dog bowl and mat and dog bed. For the humans you have tea and coffee. The food served is great and breakfast superb. The bed was a double, and mattress a bit lumpy! That might be just me😏 Lovely friendly people.

Didn't stay but called in for food to break up a journey. The fish and chips was the best I've had in ages. It isn't cheap, but don't let that put you off! You get loads and the quality is well worth the price.Pity it's not a weekly visit! 🙂
