Bethesda Rugby Club Motorhome Aire — Budget Overnight Stop in Snowdonia
📍 Bethesda Rugby Club, Station Road, Bethesda, Gwynedd, LL57 3NE
About this Motorhome Aire in Bethesda, North Wales
Tucked into the heart of Bethesda at the edge of Snowdonia National Park, this community rugby club opens its hardstanding area to motorhomers seeking a genuinely affordable night in North Wales. With the dramatic Nant Ffrancon valley as a backdrop and the Lôn Las Ogwen cycle path starting just steps from the site, it delivers both the practical and the scenic in one stop.
The aire takes a maximum of three motorhomes per night and provides a full set of self-sufficient services — fresh water, grey waste disposal and black cassette emptying all included. When the clubhouse is open (most evenings), guests can access showers, toilets and a bar serving home-cooked food. Payment is handled at the bar when it’s open, or by leaving cash in an envelope with your registration number in the letterbox on the main gate.
Pricing has ranged between £6 and £10 per night, with £10 the current standard rate for full facilities. There is no electric hook-up. Spaces are limited to three vehicles and the club has occasionally closed temporarily for maintenance, so it is strongly recommended to call ahead before making the trip.
