These Terms of Service govern your use of the Motorhome Stopover Club website at motorhomestopoverclub.com and your membership of the club. By registering an account or using our website, you agree to these terms.
1. Who We Are
MotorHomeStopOverClub is operated by MotorHomeStopOverClub of 28 Green Park, Bootle, L30 7PP. References to “we”, “us”, or “our” refer to MotorHomeStopOverClub.
2. Membership
We offer free and paid membership tiers. Paid membership is charged annually at the rate displayed at the time of purchase. Membership gives you access to the full directory of stopover listings and other member benefits as described on the site.
You must be 18 years of age or older to register. By creating an account you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or misuse the site.
3. Payments and Refunds
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details. Annual memberships are non-refundable after 7 days from the date of purchase, except where required by UK consumer law. If you have a problem with your payment or membership, please contact us at the address in section 1.
4. Social Login
You may register or log in using your Facebook or Google account. By doing so, you authorise us to receive the profile information shared by those services (typically your name, email address, and profile picture) and to use it to create and manage your account. You remain responsible for your account regardless of the login method used.
5. Stopover Listings
Stopover listings on this site are provided for information purposes only. We do not own, manage, or control any of the locations listed. It is your responsibility to:
- Obtain permission from the landowner or business before stopping overnight at any location.
- Comply with any conditions, opening times, or restrictions that apply to a location.
- Behave considerately and leave no litter or mess.
- Ensure your vehicle complies with all relevant laws and regulations.
We make no guarantee that any listed location will be available, accessible, or suitable for your vehicle. Listings may change or become unavailable without notice. We accept no liability for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from your use of a listed stopover location.
6. User-Submitted Content
If you submit reviews, comments, or other content to the site, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content on the site. You confirm that any content you submit is accurate, does not infringe any third party’s rights, and is not defamatory, offensive, or misleading. We reserve the right to remove any content that breaches these terms.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its systems.
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute our listing data without written permission.
- Post false, misleading, or spam content.
- Share your membership login with others.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be excluded by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
