The Cart & Horses is a historic country pub dating back to around 1760, located in Kings Worthy at London Road, Winchester (postcode SO23 7QN). Recently refurbished in 2023, it retains many original features such as ancient beams and rustic artifacts, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The pub is part of Greene King's upmarket "Crafted Pub" brand and offers a selection of hand-pumped local ales, including its own "Cart & Horses Pale Ale" (4% ABV). The bar area features a distinctive marble-style bar top and several cozy alcoves. The former stables have been converted into a dining and function room. There are two large outdoor seating areas, including a rear garden with an outdoor bar and covered dining space.
