It operates as a freehouse since 2014, serving locally sourced food, fine wines, and great local ales including those from Pennine Brewery. The pub features a welcoming atmosphere with a wood-burning stove in the bar area and a spacious dining room accommodating 23 covers. It’s ideally situated just off the A1, making it a convenient stopover for travelers.
