The pub dates back to the late 14th century, with the first record from 1406, and has historical significance as the headquarters of Jack Cade’s rebellion in 1450. It features authentic oak beams, cosy Inglenook fireplaces, low ceilings, and flagstone floors, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
