About the Pub 🍺
The Egerton Arms is a charming traditional country pub dating back to the 15th century, originally built as stables for travelers heading to Tatton Park. It features low beams, big fireplaces, bizarre antiques, and a long bar with old brass pumps. The interior spans three levels with rural décor, low lighting including table candles, creating an intimate atmosphere. It also has a separate games room for pool and darts, plus a lovely beer garden.
Owned by Jeremy Hague and Anne Lefeuvre, the pub has been revitalized as a local hub for the Chelford community, offering excellent food and a variety of local beers including those from Mobberley Brewhouse.
