The Duke Of Cumberland is a well-loved, traditional Lakeland pub in Kendal, Cumbria, named after the Duke of Cumberland, known as “the Butcher,” who historically pursued Bonnie Prince Charlie in 1745. It boasts a unique brewhouse and kitchen style with a quirky vibe, specialising in craft beers, cask ales, cocktails, and premium lagers. The pub offers a warm welcome and is known for great honest pub food prepared from scratch on site. It has recently undergone refurbishment to enhance the customer experience, including a large outdoor beer garden with fire pits and cabins for alfresco drinking and dining.
Overnight motorhome parking is welcome here if you are dining at the pub. Ample parking is available on site, but advance booking for motorhome stopover is recommended.
