It underwent an extensive tasteful refurbishment and reopened in May 2025. The pub features a pleasant outdoor drinking area at the front and offers accommodation in six rooms. It is conveniently located near Sturdy Bank Campsite and Longlands Holiday Park, with easy access to the villages of Kirkby-in-Furness and Broughton-in-Furness.
