Motorhome Stopovers in Redruth
Redruth sits at the heart of the old Cornish mining district, roughly midway along the A30 between Bodmin and Penzance. Together with neighbouring Camborne, it forms the largest urban area in mid-Cornwall. The surrounding landscape is dotted with engine houses and chimney stacks — much of it now protected as part of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape UNESCO World Heritage Site. The A30 runs just to the south, making Redruth a straightforward overnight stop for motorhomers travelling the length of Cornwall.
Motorhome Stopover Club members share verified stopovers in the area — useful campervan stops whether you’re breaking a journey west towards Penzance and Land’s End or heading out to the Lizard Peninsula to the south.
