Cashel Motorhome Stopover — Family-Run Stop Near the Causeway Coast, Northern Ireland
📍 30 Cashel Road, Coleraine, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland, BT51 4PW
About this Motorhome Stop
Opened in summer 2020, the Cashel Motorhome Stopover is a small family-run site on the Limavady-Coleraine mountain road (B186), 2.5 miles from Coleraine town centre. The site occupies a beautifully maintained grass field with six pitches, including some with electric hook-up, a fresh water service point and cassette disposal. Pricing is clear and fair: £12 per night without electric, £15 with. Dogs are very welcome, CCTV covers the site and the access lane is private and secure.
The location is superbly placed for the Causeway Coast — one of Europe’s most compelling coastal drives. Castlerock, Portstewart, Portrush, Portballintrae and Bushmills are all within 20 minutes by road, giving you effortless access to the Giant’s Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and the Old Bushmills Distillery from a single affordable base.
A village pub and small supermarket are just half a mile from the gate. Call ahead to book and confirm a pitch, particularly from May through September when the Causeway Coast attracts visitors from across Europe and North America.
