Originally built to serve the Inland Canal Port of Shardlow on the Trent and Mersey Canal, this Grade II listed pub offers a community feel with timber bar servery, feature fireplaces, beamed ceilings, and a cosy atmosphere. It accommodates up to approximately 90 covers, including inside areas and outdoor seating. The pub is dog friendly and family oriented, featuring a children’s play area and bouncy castle. It is famed for locally sourced, freshly prepared food and a carefully crafted bar menu including real ales and cocktails. The Navigation Inn serves traditional and modern pub fare with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available.
